MWT, I LOVE YOU

Hello, Here is a card I made for the Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown Challenge from the Stars and Stamps website. It is my favorite card to make for OWH as I always pray as I make these cards that a marriage will be made stronger.

The stamp set is from Gina K Designs called Branching Out; the embossing folder is Victorian Wallpaper by Stampin Up!; the border punch is from Martha Stewart; the cardstock is Sweet Corn from Gina K Designs; the rest is from my stash of stuff! I used the letterpress technique with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and the embossing folder and I put the tip of my Copic marker through the back of each hold on the belly band.

Hope your week is wonderful and I'll see you soon dear ones!

Love cards are my favorites to create, too. I can only imagine how much those cards mean to spouses at home.

  6. The gold accents on this beautiful card really caught my eye! It's beautiful with all those tiny gold beads, but I love how you colored the edge of that punched border too! Nice!!

  7. What a beautiful card! The gold accents are just lovely. I almost didn't recognize the border punch for a minute - coloring the edge makes it look like a double border. I have visited your card three times today already and have only had time to write my comment just now. Sometimes cards just rise above, and I think this one is definitely one of those! :)
